Charities Supported by Finch Group

At Finch, we pride ourselves on our community involvement, and support many local initiatives in Berkshire and Hampshire.

As a commercial organisation we realise our corporate responsibility to look outside the business and we also know we can help make a real difference to some great local charities.

That's why we have chosen to support two great (and very local) charities that were chosen and are supported by the team at Finch Group. One in Basingstoke and one in Woodley.

The Café Project in Basingstoke

The Café Project at The Dome is a charitable trust that aims to support Learning Disabled (LD) people with employment and training opportunities in Basingstoke.

We chose to support The Café Project  in Basingstoke for one simple reason. It's an amazing idea that gives children with Learning Disabilites a chance to experience work environment.

Although the charity has plenty of volunteer back-up, they need support to help complete the project, which involves the purchasing of equipment and the supply of specialist trade labour.

We are currently raising money to help fund kitchen equipment for The Café Project with a range of fund raising activities.

Age Concern Woodley

Age Concern Woodley is a Charity aiming to match the needs of people over 50, older people who want to remain in  their local community, carers, and people with dementia.

It provides, and is developing new services in partnership with others and we are fully commited to raising funds and awareness for this great cause, delivered at a local level in Woodley.

Having been in Woodley for so long, we have seen the impact Age Concern have in the area and they are an obvious choice for us for us to support with fundraising and awareness campaigns.
