Directions to Finch from the M4 -
Leave the M4 at Junction 10 and join the A329M and follow the directions to
Reading
After about 1 mile leave the A329M at the signpost for Woodley. At the end of
the slip road, turn right at the roundabout, proceed to the next roundabout
and again turn right and go under the fly over. At the next roundabout take
the first exit left.
At the end of this road will be a further roundabout, proceed straight across
this and the next roundabout and at the third roundabout, take the first exit
left, into Headley Road (East.)
At the end of this road will be a further roundabout, take the second exit
into Headley Road, proceed along this road until you reach a mini-roundabout
(QS Clothes shop on corner) and turn left into car park. (The car park is pay and
display).
Once parked follow the pedestrian way into the shopping precinct; turn left
and locate Clarks Shoes. Keep walking in that direction and we are above Lloyds
TSB Bank.
Directions to Finch’s - Coming from Kings Road,
Reading
Follow King’s road around to the left going through two set’s of
traffic lights. After the 2nd set of traffic light make sure you are in the
right hand lane. Continue along King’s road and you come to a fork junction;
you need the right fork so stay in that right hand lane and go through the traffic
lights.
You are now on Wokingham Road. This road will
veer to the right taking you past a playground on your left, then take up hill
past some shops on you left and eventually past a BP on your left. After the
BP Garage take the 2nd turning left onto Heath Road.
Heath Road will veer to the right taking you to a T-Junction. Take a left onto
Church Road. Go through one set of traffic
lights and continue along to a Mini-roundabout and take a right here.
You are now on Woodlands Avenue. Continue along
this round passing a Leisure centre on your left, going straight over two mini-roundabouts
until you see the Waitrose Car Park straight in front of you. Park here and
walk over into the Shopping Precinct. We are above Lloyds Bank and opposite
Waitrose. Ring the bell on the intercom.
