A number of legal reforms are changing the way in which Motor Personal Injury, Employers' and Public Liability claims are dealt with and are expected to take effect from April 2013. The reforms are a result of the Lord Justice Jackson Review on civil litigation costs and the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) consultation on civil justice procedure. 
 
The implementation of the reforms will be staggered, with the extension of the portal taking effect from 1st August 2013 and the removal of certain legal costs, such as; success fees, referral fees, coming into effect from 2nd April 2013.
